Management Committee Profiles


LTC Khong Kim Kong (R)

Khong Kim Kong is presently a member of the Management Committee  of TA Management Limited, which manages Terasen Centre in the central business district of Vancouver.

He is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst and the Royal School of Military Engineering, England.  At Sandhurst, he graduated with the highest place in the Order of Merit among all the overseas cadets. He is also a graduate of the British Army General Command & Staff College for senior army officers.

After leaving the Army, he joined Tractors Malaysia and rose through the ranks to become a director of the company, responsible for the Parts & Service Division of the company.  He later joined the Malayan United Industries (MUI) as an Executive Director overseeing the manufacturing activities of the company. He was subsequently appointed as the Executive Director of the Ming Court Hotel chain under MUI.

Lee Medd
Leasing & Property Manager

Lee Medd graduated with a certificate in Computer Science. He went on to complete training programs through the Intercontinental Hotel Group for general manager, revenue manager and front office manager designations.  He has also completed numerous management programs through the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), Langara College and the University of British Columbia (UBC).  He achieved his property management certification and is working towards his trading services license at UBC.

Lee spent several year since the hospitality industry gaining much insight and experience in the construction phase to operational and administrative management. He travelled extensively throughout Southeast Asia providing consulting services for various hospitality companies as an independent contractor.  Upon his return to Canada, he joined the Holborn Group as their coordinator and purchasing agent.  With his excellent record and performance at Holborn, he was offered to join the management team of TA Management Limited at the FortisBC Centre where he holds the position of Property and Leasing Manager and also as a member of the Management Committee.

Lee brings with him fourteen years of experience and knowledge skills in the hotel industry, property construction and management and information technology. His international travel experience has provided him with a clear cultural understanding which gives him the edge needed to work with people universally. He is personable, has a great ability to provide quality customer service to clients, a “must have” in today’s trade and business world.

Molly Soong Diaz
Office Administration Manager

Molly joined the property management team at the Terasen Centre, which was formerly owned and managed by Manulife Financial in 1992.   Within a year of her tenure, Molly achieved her Property Management designation through the Real Estate Council of British Columbia.

The TA Group purchased the Terasen Centre in November 1995. TA Management Limited took over management of the Terasen Centre in 1999 and retained her as part of the administration and operations staff.She is now the Office Administration Manager of TAML and a member of the Management Committee.

She completed her education in Hong Kong at the top of her class. Upon her graduation, she joined the airline industry for 7 years in a supervisory capacity in customer service with Jardine Airways at Kai Tak International Airport, HK.

Molly also brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge from 26 years of administrative experience in the property management, structural engineering and construction industries.
